The Celine Palatsky Travel Award Committee is pleased to announce Lorenzo De Los Angeles as the award's 2025 recipient! This year's $100 award supports attendance at the 53rd annual ARLIS/NA conference, held virtually May 12-16, 2025.
Lorenzo De Los Angeles is a working visual artist and a Reference Assistant for Frick Art Research Library of The Frick Collection. He was able to attend the 2018 ARLIS/NA Conference in New York City and was pleased to be able to apply what he had learned to his professional practice. We are happy to support Lorenzo in his work and interest in meeting and engaging with peers.
The ARLIS/NA New York Chapter Travel Award was initiated in 1993 and renamed in 2000 in memory of Celine Palatsky, who served as Associate Museum Librarian of the Thomas J. Watson Library of the Metropolitan Museum of Art from 1971 to 1999 and as ARLIS/NA New York Treasurer for fourteen consecutive years. We encourage members to donate in support of the Celine Palatsky Travel Award to promote the professional development of our community through conference attendance.
Congratulations again to Lorenzo!
