Join New York chapter of ARLIS/NA for a tour of the Public Design Commission Archives. The Public Design Commission (PDC) maintains an archive of projects reviewed by the Commission since 1902, documenting nearly 8,000 sites throughout New York City and providing a unique view into the history of the City’s public works that showcases how social, political and economic factors and world events can shape the public realm. Containing original documents, drawings, photographs, and architectural plans, the archive informs the Commission’s review of current projects and provides a valuable resource to researchers.

This tour will be capped at 15 participants and registration is limited to members of ARLIS/NA's New York Chapter.

If you have any questions about the visit, feel free to reach out to Programming Coordinator Bridget O'Keefe at bridget_okeefe@moma.org.
